Thought Encryption for the Masses

Over the past twenty years, neuroscientists have been building a revolutionary technology called BrainGate that wirelessly connects the human mind to computers and it is now a reality. Through the use of brain computer interfaces (BCI’s) we would be able to communicate with others via thought. This is exciting but also frightening. The potential for brain hacking is an obvious concern. What if others could control your mind or hack your memory? We will need some form of thought encryption.

At Onix Industries we have developed a unique approach to access control for BCI’s. By combining a series of 8 algorithms with a rotating prism we have done away with passwords and their inherent weaknesses. By the user mentally selecting a prism face, the prism rotates 120 degrees on that axis. By mentally selecting a prism face twice, the prism rotates 240 degrees on that axis. The user is required to do this process four times. This would act as a simple, yet powerful method of thought encryption.
